Beat 102-103 Club Focus Awards 2025

Powerstown Football Club, are in the running to win a competition for sports clubs in the south-east of Ireland. Powerstown, who play in Division 1 of the Tipperary Southern District League, face competition from 10 other clubs to win the cash prize of €2000.
“Being nominated is indicative of the success the club has had and of it’s future potential, despite being only five years in existence” said player/manager Nicholas Ryan.
“Powerstown has an excellent sporting heritage,” said Ryan. “The area has had residents who have excelled in many sports at home and abroad. Winning this award would help us to live up to this legacy and allow us to represent our home to the best of our ability.”
He said that the club would use it to upgrade the facilities of their home pitch in Redmondstown, benefitting the team and the community as a whole. This will help Powerstown to achieve their aims of promotion to the Premier Division and enter a team in the Youth division.
