Powerstown FC Pub Quiz

On 6th March at 8pm, Powerstown FC are hosting our first annual Pub Quiz at the Quays Bar, Clonmel.

As well as improving our facilities and playing surfaces, we are aiming to enter our first team into the TSDL Youth Division for the 2026-27 season.

To raise funds for this, we are hosting a Pub Quiz. With a raffle and spot prizes on the night, it's sure to be a fun night for all!

Beat 102-103 Club Focus Awards 2025

Powerstown Football Club have beaten 11 other south-east sports club to win the "Beat 102-103 Sports Focus Club of the Year"!

“Being nominated is indicative of the success the club has had and of it’s future potential, despite being only five years in existence” said player/manager Nicholas Ryan. “Powerstown has an excellent sporting heritage,” said Ryan. “Locals have excelled in many sports like Gaelic football, hurling, horse racing and athletics at home and abroad. Winning this award would help us to live up to this legacy and allow us to represent our home to the best of our ability.”


He said that the club would use it to upgrade the facilities of their home pitch in Redmondstown, benefitting the team and the community as a whole. This will help the club to achieve their aims of promotion to the Premier Division and enter a team in the Youth division for the 2026-27 season

Powerstown Football Club, are in the running to win a competition for sports clubs in the south-east of Ireland. Powerstown, who play in Division 1 of the Tipperary Southern District League, face competition from 10 other clubs to win the cash prize of €2000.
